To determine the appropriate BTU rating for your space, start by measuring the square footage of the area you want to heat or cool.

Factors to Consider:

Insulation: Poor insulation may require a higher BTU rating.
Climate: Extremely hot or cold climates may also necessitate additional BTUs for optimal performance.

Coverage Area Guidelines:

9,000 BTU: Suitable for spaces up to 375 sq. ft.
12,000 BTU: Ideal for areas between 350–550 sq. ft.
