The MRCOOL® DIY Hybrid 48K Multi-Zone Heat Pump System is designed for homeowners who want whole-home comfort with flexible zoning, without the cost or delays of professional HVAC installation.

 

This custom-built hybrid system pairs the MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation 48,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with a 36,000 BTU DIY Hybrid ducted air handler and a 12,000 BTU one-way ceiling cassette, delivering powerful, balanced heating and cooling where traditional wall-mounted units aren’t ideal.

 

By combining central ducted airflow with a low-profile ceiling cassette, this system is perfect for living rooms, hallways, basements, offices, additions, and open-concept layouts. Thanks to MRCOOL®’s patented DIY® QuickConnect® technology, installation requires no vacuum pump, no gauges, and no licensed HVAC technician.
